Outsell with agency partner Saatchi & Saatchi was presented with a Stevie® Award at the 13th Annual American Business Awards in Chicago. Outsell and Saatchi & Saatchi received a Silver Stevie Award for the 2014 Toyota Highlander vehicle launch campaign in the Automotive Marketing Campaign of the Year category.

The American Business Awards are the nation’s premier business awards program. All organizations operating in the U.S.A. are eligible to submit nominations – public and private, for-profit and non-profit, large and small. Nicknamed the Stevies for the Greek word meaning “crowned,” the awards were presented to winners during a gala banquet on June 22 at the Fairmont Chicago Millennium Park Hotel. More than 400 nominees and their guests attended.

More than 3,300 nominations from organizations of all sizes and in virtually every industry were submitted this year for consideration in a wide range of categories, including Startup of the Year, Executive of the Year, Best New Product or Service of the Year, Marketing Campaign of the Year, Live Event of the Year, and Human Resources Department of the Year, among others. More than 200 executives worldwide participated in the judging process to select this year’s Stevie Award winners. “We are extremely impressed with the quality of the entries we received this year. The competition was intense and every organization that won should be proud,” said Michael Gallagher, president and founder of the Stevie Awards. “To those outstanding individuals and organizations that received Gold, Silver, and Bronze Stevie Awards, the judges and I are honored to celebrate your many accomplishments. You are setting a high standard for professionals nationwide.”

“It’s an honor to be selected to join an impressive group of winners in this category and we are delighted to receive a Stevie Award for the second straight year,” said Michael Wethington, CEO of Outsell. “I want to recognize the efforts of the Outsell and Saatchi & Saatchi teams that conceived and developed the interactive campaign that helped Toyota North America better connect with its customers and prospects as part of the 2014 Highlander launch.”
