Impel Announces Key Leadership Changes Amid Strategic Growth   

Following the recently announced acquisition of Outsell by Impel, we’re excited to announce significant leadership additions and changes to drive our continued expansion. John Clavadetscher, formerly President of Outsell, has been named Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) of  Impel. With over 25 years in the automotive industry successfully founding and scaling digital and software companies, John’s track record of accelerating revenue growth and enhancing operational excellence was instrumental to Outsell’s success. As CCO of Impel, John will direct the company’s Sales, Customer Success, and Business Development operations.  

Leadership Additions 

Under Impel, the global leader in AI Sales and Marketing automation. The recent $100 million acquisition by Impel enhances our capabilities and market presence. 

  • Eric Portman, Chief Technology Officer, brings over 30 years of enterprise technology experience, driving AI-powered innovations and solutions. 
  • Matthew Muilenburg, Chief Product Officer, will unify our solutions into a verticalized technology platform, delivering unified customer lifecycle experiences that enhance dealer and OEM results.
  • Steve Saporta, Chief Information Security Officer, will focus on global information security, data protection, and software reliability. 
  • Andrew Lumsden, Senior VP of Platform Services, will develop scalable platforms that enable customized enterprise applications and tailored solutions.
