Last week Outsell was honored to participate in the 10th Annual Bridges to Learning Gala that benefits the Anh Linh Free School in Vietnam. This year along with attending the gala, we had a few associates that volunteered by setting up the silent auction, working during the gala, as well as assisting with the writing of thank you notes to all the supporters.
Erik Bergstrom, one of the volunteers, noted that a lot of people were having fun with the new online bidding system for the auction. Amy Van Schepen, an attendee and volunteer, also enjoyed the new online system.
“It was a lot of fun getting alerts saying that the item you were bidding on went up,” said Van Schepen.
She lucked out and ended up getting two of the items she was bidding on that evening.
Van Schepen and Suzie Lamb also had fun working the event. Suzie worked coat check while Amy helped with the silent auction setup as well as with the popular ring toss game, where people had a chance to win bottles of wine and liquor in a fun and exciting atmosphere.
Thank you to all who attended as well as to the Caring Committee who organizes Outsell’s support each year!
