Matias Black from the Dealer Services team has been nominated by Trevor Gehring for exemplifying the Outsell Values TEAMWORK and INITIATIVE.

“I would like to nominate Matias Black for Teamwork and Initiative. Recently I had Matias stand in for me at a Production support meeting. In the meeting it was discussed that Dev’s case queue is unmanageable. Matias took the initiative to volunteer to help development out and go through their cases to remove ones that have already been taken care of or are not relevant anymore. This helped reduce the queue from around 90 to about 30 cases making it easier for development to prioritize what needs to get addressed. – Trevor Gehring

Bio:
Grew up in Aberdeen, SD
Majored in History and Creative Writing at Coe College
Half-Danish – still has a lot of family in Denmark

Fun Facts:
Backpacked around Europe before college, and has been abroad about a dozen times; looking to go again
Attempting to write – historical fiction for young adults being the goal
Married to fellow Outsell Associate Mary Black.
