Director of Insight, Jennifer Bunner
[Jennifer Bunner] Prior to joining Outsell, I led the delivery of B to C Marketing Analytics for GE Money Sales Finance, focusing on developing and optimizing marketing strategies that drove results across direct and digital marketing channels, and delivering on key business initiatives such as customer level profitability analysis, segmentation strategies, and price elasticity tests.
I was also previously responsible for leading the CRM Planning and Optimization group for Wunderman Team Detroit, where I assisted OEM clients in developing data driven strategies and measurement plans to optimize CRM campaigns; as a Decision Sciences Manager for Carlson Marketing Group where I developed data driven strategies and measurement plans for Carlson Companies Inc consumer based loyalty programs; and as a Analytics Manager at Best Buy where I drove customer segment business strategy through strategic customer insights and analysis.
What key responsibilities do you have as part of your position at Outsell?
[Jennifer Bunner] At Outsell, my team is focused on 4 key areas: Analytics in the Platform, Optimization, Brand and Strategic Alliance Support, and Industry Thought Leadership.
Analytics in the Platform: Targeting the right consumers, with the right offer, creative, and channel via advanced statistical models; building the most complete and accurate database via data sourcing and hygiene, and delivering relevant and highly visualized reports to Platform end users.
Optimization: Continually improving Platform performance via multivariate testing and learning, and developing new campaign offerings and innovative creative.
Brand and Strategic Alliance Support: Developing Campaign Strategy, Creative & Analytics for key Brand and Strategic Alliance programs and initiatives (i.e. new vehicle launch) and delivering timely and relevant results reports and insights on a regular cadence.
Industry Thought Leadership: Monthly delivery of relevant Platform Insights that drive business for our Brands and Partners, and prospective Partners.
What excites you most about the Outsell Digital Marketing Platform?
[Jennifer Bunner] The reporting, analytics and insights in the Platform! Our integration of online and offline data is amazing and allows for game changing insights and learnings about how consumers are engaging with digital marketing. One of the most exciting capabilities is the ability to view complete consumer online and offline interaction paths from promotion to engagement to sales.
How do you keep active outside of work hours?
[Jennifer Bunner] I have 2 young children- a 4 yr old son and 2 year old daughter. Most of my free time is spent with my husband and kids enjoying outdoor activities such as hiking, canoeing, and a favorite of my kids is throwing rocks in the Mississippi River! I am also an avid runner. This year I competed in two half marathons, and will be competing in two 5K races in the coming months. I am also planning on running another marathon in the spring, which will be my 3rd marathon.
Tell us a little-known fact about you.
[Jennifer Bunner] I ran on the cross country and indoor/outdoor track teams in University, and was also a pole vaulter. I am an expert at packing and moving. We have moved 8 times in the last 12 years. We plan to stay put in the Twin Cities!
