Production Specialist Archives | Outsell

May is National Employee Health & Fitness Month, and in the spirit of starting the summer off healthy with some friendly competition, Outsell has implemented a walking contest. Participating employees picked up pedometers starting Friday, April 29th, competing for weekly prizes and a final overall ‘most steps throughout the month’ prize.

Weekly winners get a $10 giftcard to either Target or Bruegger’s. The final monthly prize is two Twins tickets for a day game and that entire day off of work, with 2nd place getting a $50 giftcard to Target.

Competition has been tight. Week one went to Operations Project Manager, Rita Van Pelt, and week two was announced this morning as Operations Production Specialist, Michael Tomiak, with weekly steps nearing 80k!

Congratulations! And good luck to all in the remaining weeks of the competition!

Bagel Wednesday

Campaign Operations Batch Manager, Katherine Lyman, showed off her Outsell team spirit once again today with “Bagel Wednesday”, a weekly tradition providing fresh bagels and cream cheese for her team and anyone able to snag one before they’re gone. While Katy started the tradition, team members Kip Reynolds and Samantha McIntosh also take turns providing the bagels, with occasional guest appearances by Vice President of Operations, Susan Sperl.

Thanks for going the extra mile, Katy!

Off to a Great New Season!

With another season of Outsell soccer underway, facilitating company spirit in the off-hours, an update is needed for this new Outsell team. After a fun and successful season for our male squad, put together by Customer Interaction Specialist, Andres Perez, that season has ended and the Monday night coed season has begun.

Twin Cities Enjoy 5th Annual Event

2011 marked the fifth annual U.S. Bank Skyway Open in downtown Minneapolis to raise money for The Boys & Girls Clubs of the Twin Cities. The Clubs’ mission:

“to enable all young people, especially those who need us most, to reach their full potential as productive, caring, responsible citizens.”

Outsell sponsored 5 teams for the 18-hole mini-golf tournament, featuring professionally designed golf holes by leading Minneapolis-based architects and contractors set up throughout the downtown skyway system.

The course was open to the public Thursday, February 24-26, including a 19th Hole party held on Friday evening. Capital Grille and Rock Bottom Brewery hosted happy hour specials for participants. Saturday completed the event as Family Day, offering a special family rate, popcorn, games, and prizes compliments of Kinderberry Hill Child Development Center.

Clubs and golf balls were provided at each hole courtesy of U.S. Bank and Centennial Lakes Park. Awards were presented to golfers at the end of each day including a Best Dressed category.
