The Outsell site is designed to give clients and prospects in-depth information about its marketing platform that helps businesses better engage with its consumers across all digital channels. On its Platform page, Outsell has provided an informative video, which provides a simple overview of the digital engagement program that cuts through to the core issues affecting the automotive market, and how Outsell is solving those issues. Outsell also includes customer video testimonials on its Clients page to clearly illustrate the many benefits Outsell’s platform provides to the auto industry. As a technology provider, the company has really differentiated itself by making its site intuitive, easy to navigate and rich with graphics and video to make it simple to understand the features and benefits of the Outsell Digital Engagement Platform.

“We are thrilled to receive this recognition for our website,” said Richard Scheig, Vice President of Sales and Marketing. “The Outsell team has worked very hard to make our site easy to navigate and understand, and to include engaging video. We’ve invested time and resources to create a bold design that seems to really resonate with visitors, and we’ll continue to make our site rich with information that helps businesses understand the importance of engaging with consumers on digital channels to drive business and customer retention.”

The 2012 WebAward Competition Format
The Web Marketing Association received more than 2,000 entries from 42 countries across 96 industry categories for this year’s competition. Entries were judged on design, copy writing, innovation, content, interactivity, navigation, and use of technology. The competition was judged by a team of independent Internet professionals representing a variety of relevant disciplines of website development. Judges included members of the media, advertising executives, site designers, creative directors, corporate marketing executives, content providers and webmasters.

The WebAward competition format allows websites to compete head to head with other sites within their industry to win the Best of Industry award. Entries also compete against a standard of excellence to win Outstanding Website and Standard of Excellence WebAwards. Each site is judged on seven different criteria and earns a score between 0 and 70 points. The highest score in a given category wins Best of Industry for that category. If the remaining entries receive a score of 60 or greater, they receive the Outstanding Website award. Entries that score higher than their industry average and below 59.9 receive the Standard of Excellence.

A complete list of the winning sites can be found at the WebAward website at www.webaward.org.
