Twin Cities Enjoy 5th Annual Event

2011 marked the fifth annual U.S. Bank Skyway Open in downtown Minneapolis to raise money for The Boys & Girls Clubs of the Twin Cities. The Clubs’ mission:

“to enable all young people, especially those who need us most, to reach their full potential as productive, caring, responsible citizens.”

Outsell sponsored 5 teams for the 18-hole mini-golf tournament, featuring professionally designed golf holes by leading Minneapolis-based architects and contractors set up throughout the downtown skyway system.

The course was open to the public Thursday, February 24-26, including a 19th Hole party held on Friday evening. Capital Grille and Rock Bottom Brewery hosted happy hour specials for participants. Saturday completed the event as Family Day, offering a special family rate, popcorn, games, and prizes compliments of Kinderberry Hill Child Development Center.

Clubs and golf balls were provided at each hole courtesy of U.S. Bank and Centennial Lakes Park. Awards were presented to golfers at the end of each day including a Best Dressed category.

Local NBC and CBS stations, Kare 11 and WCCO, spoke with Outsell employees while covering the event.
