Outsell Releases Product Updates, Wins Awards

Outsell announced today its quarterly results for Q2, 2012. Outsell exceeded its financial plan in the second quarter, with consistent growth across the first two quarters of 2012. Outsell also garnered a number of awards and recognitions in Q2, including an American Business Award (“Stevie Award”), an honorable mention from the Star Tribune as a “Top Workplace”, and a Finalist position for the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award.

“The ability to create a personal dialogue with automotive consumers that sells more cars and service appointments while also boosting brand image is an opportunity few manufacturers and dealers will turn down,” said Mike Wethington, CEO of Outsell. “In today’s marketing landscape, messaging has to be highly personalized and interlinked across channels to get through to the consumer. By effectively executing on that promise, we’ve helped our clients to maintain their leadership role in the market.”

In major highlights for Q2, 2012:

• Product Update- Following the launch of version 3.0 of the Outsell Digital Engagement Platform in Q1, Outsell focused on increasing the stability and functionality of the platform in Q2. Some of the key initiatives that Outsell took to enhance its product is as follows:
o Proactive Chat– Outsell brought a proactive “Smart Chat” product to market in Q2. The product has created a rapid increase in the number of chats and leads being generated for dealers on the program.
o Platform Stabilization Release– The Outsell development team successfully upgraded the back-end of the platform to increase its speed, stability and functionality.

• Awards- In June of Q2 Outsell won an American Business Award (“Stevie Award”) for the Chevrolet Calendar Year End Drip campaign. The campaign won silver for its creative use of behaviorally targeted email marketing to connect auto dealers with consumers. Outsell was joined by the President of Agency 720 for the awards ceremony in New York. In Q2, Outsell also received an honorable mention from the Star Tribune as a “Top Workplace”. Finally, in late June Outsell’s CEO Mike Wethington was honored as a Finalist for the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award.

• Office Move- Due to the space constraints caused by Outsell’s rapid growth, Outsell will be moving to a new office space on July 27th. The new space in the Capella Tower in downtown Minneapolis doubles the size of Outsell’s current offices and will provide the company with facilities to support growth over the coming years. An open-house ribbon-cutting event is scheduled for August 9th with Minneapolis Mayor R.T.Rybak.

• People- In Q2, Outsell hired top-tier national talent for numerous positions, including Strategic Account Directors and Representatives, Business Systems and Analytic Marketing Analysts, Web Developers and Database Administrators. These new associates will help spur Outsell’s growth through the end of 2012.
