Outsell’s Matt Hanley Named Finalist for 2012 CFO of the Year by Minneapolis/St. Paul Business Journal

Outsell announced today that its CFO Matt Hanley has been named a finalist for 2012 CFO of the Year by the Minneapolis/St. Paul Business Journal. All finalists were revealed by the paper at http://www.bizjournals.com/twincities/, and will be honored at a November 13 luncheon, where overall winners in seven categories will be announced. Winners in each category will be profiled in the November 16 issue of the Business Journal.

As CFO of Outsell since 2009, Matt Hanley has guided the company through an impressive 82 percent year-over-year average revenue growth over past three years (2008 – 2011). He played a key role in the company’s recent office expansion from Northeast Minneapolis to downtown Minneapolis that doubled its office space from 9,000 square feet to 18,000 square feet.

As a result of Matt’s keen economic vision and working closely with other senior members of the company, Outsell has successfully delivered its digital marketing solutions to some of the biggest brands in the auto industry, including Toyota and Chevrolet through agencies such as Saatchi & Saatchi and Agency 720.

Outside of work, Matt is a member of Rotary International. He is also an active member and leader of Outsell’s Caring Committee, an organization created to give back to the community on a local, national and international scale whose initiatives include annual food drives, local education programs and sponsorship of Bridges to Learning to name a few.

“Matt plays such a key role in the overall success of Outsell, not only with his direct contributions in terms of managing our finances but also as a leader within the company and representative of Outsell out in the business community,” said Mike Wethington, CEO of Outsell. “We’re so proud and pleased that he’s earned this recognition from the Minneapolis/St. Paul Business Journal.”
