The Outsell Caring Committee is an organization created to give back to the community on a local, national and international scale. The Caring Committee is dedicated to improving these areas through monetary and voluntary contributions, along with adhering to the core values shared by everyone at Outsell.

Make A Wish

Since 1980, the Make-A-Wish Foundation ® has enriched the lives of children with life-threatening medical conditions through its wish-granting work. The Foundation’s mission reflects the life-changing impact that a Make-A-Wish ® experience has on children, families, referral sources, donors, sponsors and entire communities. Although it has become one of the world’s most well-known charities, the Make-A-Wish Foundation has maintained the grassroots fulfillment of its mission. A network of nearly 25,000 volunteers enable the Make-A-Wish Foundation to serve children with life-threatening medical conditions.

 Humane Society

The Humane Society of the United States is the nation’s largest and most effective animal protection organization – backed by 11 million Americans, or one in every 28. Established in 1954, The HSUS seeks a humane and sustainable world for all animals – a world that will also benefit people. The HSUS is America’s mainstream force against cruelty, exploitation and neglect, as well as the most trusted voice extolling the human-animal bond.

ASPCA

The American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA) was the first humane society to be established in North America and is today one of the largest in the world. The organization was founded on the belief that animals are entitled to kind and respectful treatment at the hands of humans, and must be protected under the law. Headquartered in New York City, the ASPCA maintains a strong local presence, with programs that extend their anti-cruelty mission across the country. The ASPCA is proud to boast more than 1 million supporters across the country.

Feed My Starving Children

Feed My Starving Children (FMSC) is a Minnesota-based global hunger relief organization. FMSC relies on 100% volunteer labor to hand-pack a specially formulated, highly nutritious meal for starving children. In 2009, approximately 405,000 volunteers packed over 91 million meals for starving children in over 60 countries.

Page Education Foundation

The Page Education Foundation awards annually renewable grants to Minnesota students of color who attend colleges, universities, and technical schools within the state of Minnesota. Students who accept financial aid from the Foundation are required to return to their communities and perform annual Service-to-Children projects with younger children of color.

Boys & Girls Clubs of America

In every community, boys and girls are left to find their own recreation and companionship in the streets. An increasing number of children are at home with no adult care or supervision. Young people need to know that someone cares about them. Boys & Girls Clubs offer that and more. Club programs and services promote and enhance the development of boys and girls by instilling a sense of competence, usefulness, belonging and influence. Boys & Girls Clubs are a safe place to learn and grow – all while having fun.

Bridges to Learning

Bridges to Learning exists to provide resources for the educational, health, and social development of impoverished children in developing countries. Bridges to Learning exists to provide educational sponsorships for individual children, through their schools, school materials and resources, such as books, blackboards and computers, nutritional programs to improve the health of the children, English language instruction, access to health care, including eyeglasses and financial support for capital improvements and new construction for schools and dormitories.
